Journey GPS Tracker

FAQ

Common questions about purchasing, syncing, language settings, and using Journey GPS Tracker.

How do I remove trial limitations?

Open Settings, choose the upgrade option, review the differences between the trial and upgraded versions, then purchase the upgrade. After purchase, the app will show that it has been purchased.

Do I need to log in?

No login is required inside the app. If the app supports iCloud sync, sign in to iCloud in iOS or macOS. Use the same iCloud account on all devices to sync data between them.

Do I need to purchase the upgrade on every device?

No. As long as you use the same App Store account, purchase once on one device, then use Restore Purchases on other devices.

How do I change the app language?

On iOS, go to Settings > Apps > Journey GPS Tracker > Preferred Language. On macOS, go to System Settings > General > Language & Region > Applications, click +, then choose Journey GPS Tracker and the language.

Can I use it on Mac?

Search for “Journey GPS Tracker” in the Mac App Store. If it does not appear, choose “iPhone & iPad Apps” on the right side.

Apple Watch cannot record tracks after reinstalling the app

Try resetting location and privacy permissions: Settings > General > Transfer or Reset iPhone > Reset > Reset Location & Privacy.

The recorded track is offset from the actual route

Open Settings, toggle “GPS position correction”, then record the track again.

Can I continue recording on a saved track?

Version 1.20 no longer supports continuing an ended track. Record a new track, then drag the second track onto the first one in the history screen to merge them. To show a previous track while recording, choose Reference from the top-right menu and select the previous track.
